The best concert I've seen

  I always go to different concerts, especially chilean music concerts, but the best of them was the anniversary of Fonda Permanente. This place is known by its music, where there are a lot of chilean artists. Well, in January of 2015 they turned seven years and invited to twenty bands approximately. This concert was in Recoleta commune, that is two hours far to my home.

In these occasion I went with my best friend, because she likes the same music that me. The concert began at 4 pm o' clock and finished at 5 am o' clock. There were three stages with different bands playing at the same time. In the place also there were stands with food and different drinks, I drunk "terremoto". 

It is my best concert because I liked all the bands, the atmosphere was very nice, I danced with my friend and many people all the afternoon and night. I love the "pachanga" and this place was perfect for enjoying. I was 13 hours singing and dancing the music that I always listen. In January I' ll go again with more friends. 

 

An Expert on your field

Hi, today i am going to talk about an expert, but he don't implicate with my field. I want to talk about him because I have the opportunity of making a investigation work the last year and  he helped me a lot with the topic. 

His name is Gilberto Aranda, I don't know about his personal life, but I contact him because I see his resume and I realized that he has studied a lot about social conflicts in the world and Latin America. In that moment I needed an expert in Venezuela and searching, I found him. 

Gilberto is Doctor in Latin American Studies and he works in the Institute of International Studies, University of Chile. He has published three books and six articles, they have relation with Latin America. 

I like this expert, because I consider that is a modest person. He took in a school about the conflict that Venezuela lives, when he has stay in TV and different countries giving interviews. I think that Gilberto is a learned person and I admire him.    

My favorite Movie

Good afternoon! Today I have to talk about my favorite movie , but it is really difficult because one of my favorite hobbies is watching movies. 
Well, in this case I chose the movie "Interstellar". In the cast there are noted actors like Anne Hathaway, Bill Irwin, Jessica Chastain, Mackenzie Foy, Matthew McConaughey and Michael Caine.
This movie is in the category of science fiction and was released on 2014. It relates the time when the life on Earth was coming to an end, and a team of explorers have to do the most important mission of human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover if the humanity has a future among the stars. 
The story takes place in a farm of United States, where the protagonists live. In it there is an agricultural crisis product of a crop plague. 
I like this movie, because it mixes all the emotions that the human can feel.I like the music, the way of showing us that we are insignificant in all the universe and the human relations in a world that is ending. 
My favorite part is when the explorers arrive to a new galaxy, the place is beautiful and takes unknown forms. 
I wouldn't change anything in this movie, because I think that it is perfect and It has beautiful details. 

My favorite photograph

Hi again!. The photograph was taken by my mom the summer holidays on 2003 or 2004, when I had around six or seven years old. It shows to my father and I riding a white horse in a place called "Los queñes", located in the seventh region of Maule. 

I like this photograph, because my father and I have a very good relation, always we have a theme of conversation and our personalities are similar. Then this photo shows my childhood with the man who has learned me about the life. Also we were in the south and always I have liked the  nature, the trees, animals and walk in the forests. 

I think that the photo is a reflection of some important things of my life, my father, nature and my childhood. These vacations were so beautiful and entertaining. 

My Favorite Festivity

Hello! Today I will to talk about my favorite festivity, which is the new year's celebration. This event happens on December 31st at twelve o'clock and it continues until January 1st in  early morning.
In the beginning the new year wasn't celebrated on the date that we  are accustomed, even in many places it is still celebrated between March and April, like Iran, Irak and India. In Chile, the mapuche people celebrate it on June 23rd, and it is called "We Tripantu".
New Year is celebrated for the first time in Babilonia, 4000 years ago, it started with the first crescent moon later of the first day of spring.
The day of the celebration, generally my family (parents, brother and grandmom) and I help to prepare the dinner and we have dinner around  ten o'clock. At midnight we hug each other and after I go out with my friends where there are some parties.
I like this festivity because I consider that the people are very happy and everything is summarized in good wishes.

My Expectations for the new semester

Hello again ! In this ocation I'm going to talk about my expectation for the second semester.
This semester I have new subjets with respect to first semester, which are Anthropology II, Archaelogy II, Social History of Chile, Sociology, Estadistics, Evolution and I took English III, where every week I write in my blog.
In this moment I'm not taking extracurricular activities in the university, because I feel that I have little time or I don't know how to distribute it. By the moment I prefer to enjoy with my friends, family and people that I love. However, these last months I have gone to many places where there is good music and I can dance all night.
In this new academic period I hope to enjoy with my classmates and learn more about my career, also I want to have good qualifications to pass with calm this semester. 

My Autobiography

Hello!, my name is Javiera Véjar. I am 18 years old. I was born in Santiago, specifically in San Borja Arriaran hospital on March 26th, 1997.

I am studying anthropology in the university of Chile at the moment, this is my first year as a student and now I like it, because it is interesting and I have found nice people the first semester.

My parents are divorced, so I live with my father and my brother. I have a good relation with my mother and I always see her.

I like to dance all rhythms of music, specially merengue and salsa. My favorite sport is swimming, although I don't practice it all year.
